Cufa is seeking an eager and highly motivated The Project in-community implementerresponsible for Livelihood Enhancement for Economic Development (LEED) Project to join its dynamic, fast-moving, and hardworking international management team, to be based in its office in Phnom Penh, with three week project work in rural villages of Kompong Chhnang, Takeo and Svay Reing.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITY

 
The Project in-community implementer will be responsible for the implementation of Cufa’s community project activities, in partnership with the Community Development Project Officers and Local Field Officers.
 
This includes: 
● Developing materials and manuals for small business training delivered on a monthly basis; 
● Working closely with the VEI coordinator to facilitating VEs experts to conduct the Micro Enterprises trainings 
● Providing training to targeted beneficiaries on micro-enterprise and development; 
● Working closely with CUD Coordinator to mobilise new membership for the CUD SHGs
● Ensuring good working relationships with all partner organisations, stakeholders and CUFA both domestic and international staff;
● Monitoring project progress and performance by preparing monthly, quarterly and monitoring trip reports;
● Strengthening community development activities; and
● Implement strategies in CUFA’s SEED project to ensure the inclusion of people with disabilities, achieve gender equality and include other marginalised groups.
 

Job Requirment :

 ESSENTIAL CRITERIA 

 
● Good English and Khmer (both written and verbal) 
● Demonstrated experience working with rural communities and providing small business training
● Strong interpersonal skills, including the capacity to maintain open and constructive communications, particularly in rural communities
● Proven ability to provide detailed reporting of project activities 
● Flexibility to work for extended periods of time out in the field, sometimes in remote areas  
● Experience working in the NGO sector and on community development projects  
● Demonstrated experience in integrating strategies to mainstream people with disabilities, achieve gender equality as include marginalised people groups in all of CUFA’s projects 
● Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with partner organisations and stakeholders such as government departments
● Willing to travel for extended time frames to the remote areas across Cambodia to oversee and conduct monitoring trips
● Strong personal attribute toward the poorest of the poor in Cambodia   
● Ability to work under pressure and create a good team work environment
 
DESIRABLE CRITERIA 
● Knowledge of, and involvement in, the credit union movement  
● Ability to take initiative, be self-motivation in work practices, set priorities for self and meet required deadlines 
● Good computer literacy, Microsoft Office, Internet and Email 
● Motorbike licence
