Jobs Description :

 The Cambodian Center for Human Rights (“CCHR”), a non – aligned, independent, and nongovernmental

 
organization that works to promote and protect democracy and respect for human
rights –primarily   civil and political rights – throughout the Kingdom of Cambodia, is seeking a
dynamic and professional Cambodian to fill the following position for Business and Human Rights
Project.  
 
Position:  Project Assistant
Salary: $350- $424 gross per month depending on relevant background, experience and
qualifications
 
Responsibilities
 Monitor and record land rights violations by; 
 Assist the Project to plan and implement the Project and ensure the Project realizes its aims; 
 Assist the project with the development of training materials/handbooks on land rights, the 
UNGPs, monitoring, and documentation and research;  
 Assist the project to organize trainings to the selected participants;  
 Coordinate closely with trained CSOs to assist with conducting cascade trainings; 
 Facilitate the project radio talk show; and  
 Complete other tasks as assigned by the project coordinator
 
 

Job Requirment :

  University degree in human rights, law, social sciences or a related subject;

 At least one year experiences of providing project support, organizing and conducting 
trainings and events related to human rights; 
 Experience of report writing;
 Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work under pressure on challenging and 
sensitive issues;
 Experience in developing training materials, and facilitating the training for communities;
 Ability to work independently and in a team with high levels of responsibility;
 Fluency in written and spoken Khmer and English; and
 Knowledge of computer skills (MS. Word, Excel, Internet and email).
