Job description
The Restaurant Operations Manager will oversee, optimize and support operations at 5 branches of The Shop and The Chocolate Shop in Phnom Penh. He/she will be supporting our branch managers in meeting high service standards and customer satisfaction. This position is open to expatriates and Cambodians with excellent English communication skills.
Tasks and Responsibilities
Support and monitor branch managers and service staff:
• Visit branches to evaluate sales performance and customer satisfaction level
• Direct and supervise all branch managers to ensure they meet set objectives
• Safeguard adherence to corporate identity in all branches 
• Develop an induction program for service staff and coach new employees 
• Provide training to restaurant service and sales staff to develop their skills and enhance their job performance
• Mentor and motivate branch managers to achieve goals; conduct performance evaluations
• Communicate with branch managers to update them on recent developments, such as menu changes
• Be a role model for service staff by occasionally assisting seating and serving alongside staff to ensure that guests have an enjoyable experience
• Assist branch managers in setting up a visually appealing layout for merchandise sales 
• Optimize branch spaces with new initiatives for increased sales
• Organize events to promote sales on slow business hours 
• Ensure branch managers keep preventive maintenance records up to date
• Monitor sanitation standards in public areas or beverage preparation areas
Customer relations and external communication
• Coach branch managers in handling guest complaints
• Greet and interact with guests to take suggestions, understand needs and identify opportunities
• Request the timely preparation of promotion materials, customer announcements and table inserts and oversee distribution
• Develop strong customer relations with loyalty incentives
• Take part in events to promote The Shop and The Chocolate shop as a brand 
• Follow up on feedback and on social media reviews from customers 
Support and advice general management
• Analyze trends in customer preferences and sales records for making changes or improvements to the restaurants, sales counters, menu, etc.
• Analyze competitiveness and market position
• Develop seasonal promotion activities and decorations
• Set sales targets and implement action plans for achieving set objectives
• Provide advice to management on product pricing 
• Organize data collection on customer satisfaction and share findings with management

Job Requirment :

• Extensive experience at supervisor or manager level in restaurant service 
• Excellent communication skills in English; Knowledge of Khmer is an asset
• Energetic outgoing personality with strong commercial skills
• Excellent team player, able to coach and motivate staff
• Good computer skills
• Able to analyze sales data and report findings
• Flexible working time, prepared to work regularly on weekends and evenings
• Must have a natural feel for good and healthy food, and fine taste for interior design and decoration;
• Creative and innovative; strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Proactive and motivated personality, strong independent decision-making and planning

• Working time: 5.5 days / week (48 hours)
• Long term consultancy
• 1,500$ - 1,800$ / month 
• Benefits, paid leave and allowances (negotiable)
