Jobs Description :

 JOB PURPOSE:

The Public Relations (PR) Manager, under the supervision of COO, will create and promote the public image of the Company. The position will develop communication strategies for media and customer relations, involve with the Company Corporate Social Responsibilities (CSR) activities as well as nurture and maintain a strong network of industry connections i.e. real estate development sector to increase company awareness and develop a positive and reputable company’s image. The position will ensure all public relations activities are in support of overall Company goals and contributing to the achievement of the business targets of Orkidé Villa
 
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
  • Manage, supervise, mentor, and delegate responsibilities to PR team;
  • Develop and implement communications plan including strategy, goals and budget;
  • Coordinate all public relations activities and introduce a distinctive corporate culture to the Company work environment that would promote good relations with customers/stakeholders and enhance the reputation and public image of the Company;
  • Be a resource person and trainer on public relations, communication, hospitality to employees;
  • With the guidance and instruction from the COO, arrange interviews and press conferences for the COO or serve as the spokesperson in Company’s events and media coverage;
  • Work with the Marketing team to develop media relations strategy, seeking premium placements in print, broadcast, social media and online media;
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to create presentations, articles, reports, and information for the Company’s website, blogs, and social media;
  • Cooperate with Marketing team to further strengthen existing media relationships and develop new contacts within business and industry media;
  • Manage media inquiries and interview requests;
  • Develop and produce high quality, informative and interesting press releases, articles, related materials and keynote addresses/speeches;
  • Cooperate with Marketing and HR team to work on CSR initiatives;
  • Monitor and analyze social, economic, and political trends that may impact the Company and recommend ways to enhance the Company’s image and business based on those analyses;
  • Provide input and support marketing activities of the Company as required;
  • Develop corporate hospitality customer care/service policy and practices in cooperation with HR Department and other concerned departments
  • Do other duties as required by COO.

Job Requirment :

 Education/Experience

  • University degree in communications, public relations, hospitality or related degree
  • A minimum of 5 years relevant experience in public relations and supervision responsibilities
  • Experience working in hospitality industry an advantage
  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills; presentation / public speaking skills and experience are necessary;
  • Ability to communicate in English
  • Experience in acting as a company spokesperson; comfortable and skilled in both broadcast and print media interviews
  • Proven track record designing and executing successful public relations campaigns
  • Event planning experience
  • Be flexible, detailed, precise, serious and patient
  • Excellent time management
  • Ability to use MS Office, outlook, internet and other related applications.
