Jobs Description :

 1) Expense Management:

  • Assign appropriate work to staff and set working schedule to achieve the highest productivity.
  • Utilize expense effectively, such as water, electricity, plastic bags and stationeries.
2) Inventory Control:
  • Ensure adequate stock and timely delivery before offering product discount.
  • Ensure stock from Distribution Center and suppliers are adequate for display. Pay attention to the quantity and price tag of promotion products at product shelf and display sites. Inform Category Manager for inadequate stock.
  • Record stock discrepancies (stock from Distribution Center and suppliers) and inform Operation Manager.
  • Check product validity for quality control.
  • Order at least once per month in person to ensure there is adequate stock.
3) Store Management:
  • Display products and price tags (product name, product number and price) on designated product shelf according to instructions.
  • Check display of promotion products, monitor stock and price exchange procedures.
  • Handle out-of-stock, new and deleted products on product shelf carefully.
  • Post promotion posters at designated place according to instructions from Merchandising Department.
  • Conduct cleaning according to schedule. Maintain a clean environment, unpack and clear cardboard box, keep cleansing tools clean all the time.
4) Security:
  • Regularly check safe, cashier register, staff lockers and makeup cabinet according to instructions.
  • Keep eyes on back door, stock receiving areas and cashier registry. Pay attention to customers and internal shoplifting..
  • Ensure nothing is put next to fire and first-aid equipment. Make sure they can be operated effectively and used safely.
  • Implement and reinforce security control according to security ordinance.
5) Administration:
  • Perform duties from Link Message proactively.
  • Read “Retail Bulletin” and finish the designated work.
  • Conduct “Weekly Price Checking” and “Price and Range Checking” to ensure the price is correct.
  • Complete daily/weekly/monthly procedures and send related documents back to office in a timely manner.
6) Regular Work:
  • Complete opening and closing procedures according to instructions, inform Operation Manager whenever being unable to open and close the door at designated time.
  • Operate cashier register, such as ensure notes/coins adequacy, check credit card authenticity, process refund and manage the queuing etc.
  • Provide excellent customer service.
  • Answer customer inquiry politely and handle customer complaints wholeheartedly.
  • Offer shopping baskets to customers proactively.
7) Staffing:
  • Assign work to every staff appropriately and guide new joiners.
  • Arrange staff holiday.
  • Introduce store equipment to every new joiner and borrowed staff.
  • Guide staff in providing customer service.
  • Take disciplinary actions only after receiving permission from Operation Manager.
  • Offer training to staff, monitor and praise their performance.
8) Report:
  • Pay attention to updates from competitors.
  • Report promotional activities, events and relocation of competitors.
  • Obtain opinions or complaints from staff/customers.

Job Requirment :

 § Bachelor degree in business management or other relevant fields

§ Minimum 3 years of management experience in retail business
§ Ability in analyzing, logical thinking, strategic business and leadership skills
§ Strong in communication skills, customer focus and vendor relationship
§ Good at managing team, capacity building for staff, motivate and inspires staff
§ Honest, integrity and opens to change and learning
