Jobs Description :

The Cambodian Center for Human Rights (CCHR) is a non-aligned, independent, non-governmental organization that works to promote protect democracy and respect for human rights-primarily civil and political rights-in Cambodia.
Currently, CCHR is seeking to recruit Two (2) Cambodian candidates for the position of Project Intern.  This is a full time position for a period of six (6) months, based in Phnom Penh.The selected candidate will work closely with Strengthening CSOs to advocate for Increasing Respect for Human Rights by Corporate Actors in the Land Sector -which aims to increase respect for human rights by corporate actors in the land sector. A monthly stipend will be provided.
 
Responsibilities:
·         Assisting in research on land conflicts involving corporate actors;
·         Following up the news related to land rights conflicts and maintaining the copies in folder;
·         Update news development for land rights conflict
·         Assisting in the project’s event organizing;
·         Assisting in posting and uploading documents into Business and Human Rights Portal;
·         Applying the organization’s policies and maintaining the organization’s resources. 
  

 

Job Requirment :

·         Recent university graduate or year-4 university student in the field of law, Business Administration, International Business or any fields
           related to Business and Human Rights;
·         Good command in English language-reading, writing and speaking;
·         Interest in Business, Human Rights and land rights;
·         Honest, hardworking and willing to learn;
·         Have good communication and interpersonal skill;
·         Possession of computer skill including Microsoft Office, Internet and Email are preferable;

·         Inexperienced candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.
