Jobs Description :

The Cambodian Center for Human Rights (CCHR) is a non-political, independent, non-governmental organization that works to promote and protect democracy and respect for human rights throughout the Kingdom of Cambodia.

Currently, CCHR is seeking to recruit one candidate for a period of six months for the full time position of Fair Trial Rights Project Intern to work for CCHR. Selected candidate will work in our office based in Phnom Penh. S/he will receive a modest monthly stipend.

Responsibilities

· Assisting to conduct trial monitoring when required;

· Following up the news related to potential cases and maintaining the database of news;

· Registering trial monitoring data in the database under the supervision of the Project Coordinator;

· Assisting the filing of documents under the supervision of the Project Coordinator;

· Assisting in organizing the project’s events, workshop or training;

· Providing necessary role to the team and the organization.

Job Requirment :

· Recent University graduate or year 3- 4 University Student in the field of law;

· Fair command of the English language- reading, writing and speaking;

· Interested in human rights field;

· Have a good communication and interpersonal skill; and

· Honest, hardworking and willing to learn;

· Computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Internet and email are preferable; and

· No work experience in required
